How to interpret the status of Chinese women by showing a pattern of this complex? How to help women in achievement of a better tomorrow? Fudan University at the Third Forum on Gender and Development, more than a hundred Chinese and foreign experts and scholars with the Avon company representatives on these issues in-depth analysis and discussion.
 
   To "develop, so that women's lives better" as the theme of the third, Fudan University, Gender and Development Forum on June 9, 2007 ~ 10, was held at Shanghai's Fudan University. From mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan region and the United States, Australia and other countries more than 50 well-known scholars, as well as the Shanghai government officials and the community a total of 100 people attended the forum.
 
   As a sponsor, one of Avon (China) Co., Ltd. announced at the forum a global women's status investigation report. The report shows that women, particularly women in developing countries, is currently in the education and career development opportunities, face major challenges. Avon with the participating Chinese and foreign scholars on the reports of women revealed a range of issues facing the development of in-depth analysis and discussion.
